Make a commitment to raise your child in a Christ-centered home.
*The majority of the material that you will be given to equip you in leading your child to Christ will be given to you at the equipping event for this Milestone.
Milestone 2: Blessing (Ages 3+)
Establish the practice of praying for and giving a blessing to your child on a routine basis.
Milestone 3: Family Time (Ages 4+)
Establish the practice of connecting as a family while passing spiritual truths to your child.
Milestone 4: The Gospel (Ages 5+)
Learn how to explain the gospel in terms and ways that is understandable to your child.
*The majority of the material that you will be given to equip you in raising your child in a Christ-centered home will be given to you at the equipping event for this Milestone.
Milestone 5: Prayer (Ages 6+)
Teach your child about prayer and establish the practice of praying as a family.
Milestone 6: Bible (Ages 7+)
Teach your child about God’s Word and establish the practice of reading and memorizing scripture as a family.
Milestone 7: Worship God (Ages 8+)
Establish the practice of adoring God personally, at home, at church, and as a lifestyle.
Milestone 8: Giving & Serving (Ages 9+)
Establish the practice of giving and service others for God’s glory.
Milestone 9: Preparing For Adolescence (Ages 9-13)
Discuss the changes and challenges of adolescence with your child, all from a biblical worldview.
*The majority of the material that your will be given to equip you in leading your child to engage this topic will be given to you at the equipping event for this Milestone.
Milestone 10: Purity (Ages 13+)
Prepare and challenge your child to cherish and commit to purity.
Milestone 11: Rite of Passage (Ages 16+)
Celebrate and give your child a Christ-exalting vision for the future as an emerging adult.
Milestone 12: Launch (Ages 17+)
Coach your child to move toward college and/or career and adult independence.
Salvation & Baptism
Every milestone is intended to guide and develop your child toward becoming a fully developing follower of Jesus Christ. At some point along the way, it is our prayer that your child will make a clear decision to trust Christ as his or her Savior and then follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. We have created material to walk alongside you in understanding salvation and baptism. When that wonderful time occurs, we would love to meet with you to equip you with resources to help you foster communication with your child and celebrate their decision.
